1. I seek your police department’s Internal Affairs Annual Summary Reports for years 2014 to 2017.
2. I seek a copy of the police department's Public Synopsis of Disciplinary Actions for years 2014 to 2017. This report is required pursuant to Requirement 10 of the Attorney General’s Internal Affairs Police.
3. I seek a copy of the police department’s Vehicular Pursuit Summary Reports for years 2014 to 2017.
4. I would like all of your police department’s Use of Force Reports from January 1, 2014 to present date.
5. I would like all of your police department’s Police Use of Deadly Force Attorney General Deadly Notification Reports for years 2014 to 2017.
6. I seek the annual basic police academy training, annual firearms requalification training, use of force training, vehicular pursuit training, domestic violence training, cultural diversity training, bias intimidation crimes training, Breathalyzer training, 911 dispatcher and call-taker training, K-9 training recertification certificates for all of the police officers in your police department for the year 2017.

Hello- I am in receipt of your OPRA request seeking various records from
our borough's Police Department for the years 2014-2017. I'm forwarding it
to our police department for fulfillment.
Please note that searches requiring more than 2 hours of effort will
require a special service charge, which is the hourly rate for our police
department secretary. I will let you know when I hear from our police
department about how extensive this search will be. Thank you -

In the interest of finding a reasonable solution to processing my OPRA request, I'm requesting the Police Department could waive the special service charge if an extension of sixty (60) days in order to accommodate the interests of both the requester and the agency.

Hello- I have reviewed your request about waiving fees with the Police
Department, and we won't be able to waive the service charge because it
necessitates taking officers out of the line of duty to complete these
searches.
Normally the police secretary handles records requests, but the police
secretary cannot fulfill this request because much of the information you
seek requires a security clearance at the level of a Lieutenant.
Our Lieutenant's rate of pay is $60 an hour, and he estimates the records
he is asked to search for will require 40 hours of time, so the charge for
his efforts would likely be $2,400.00.
In addition, the firearms records you seek require security clearance of a
Sergeant, and that would require an additional charge at the Sergeant's
rate of pay.
If you would like us to proceed with the searches, please submit a
down-payment of 1/3 of the Lieutenant's fee, or $800, payable to Borough
of Flemington. Our mailing address is 38 Park Ave., Flemington, NJ 08822.
Please also note that this is an extensive search, and will require an
extension of time until at least December 27, depending on the qualified
officer's schedule. I will keep you apprised of progress.
