NOTE: this response is coming in three separate emails; i.e. 1 of 3, 2 of 3 and 3 of 3. Please advise if you do not receive all three as they constitute the entirety of your request. The applicable redactions noted below apply to all three documents attached to the emails.
1 of 3
Attached please find records responsive to the below request.
Driver’s license, social security and phone numbers are redacted pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A5(a).
Names and addresses of victims of domestic violence are redacted pursuant to R.1:38-7(a).
Vehicle plate number is redacted pursuant to R.1:38-7(a).
The CAD reports are being provided with redactions pursuant to the "criminal investigatory record" exception, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1, as interpreted and applied to CAD reports in North Jersey Media Group Inc. v. Township of Lyndhurst, 441 N.J. Super. 70, 105-07 (App. Div. 2015), rev'd in part, on other grounds, 220 N.J. 541, 569 n.6 (2017).
Our files do not contain any indictments so your request is being denied for lack of responsive records.
Dear OPRA,
I don't quite understand why I received a 3rd e-mail because it contained a whole different date all together with different criminal charges.
Yours sincerely,
ASK NJ Media
You requested "Copies of any police CAD report(s) with narrative(s), preliminary law enforcement incident report(s), arrest report(s), criminal charge complaint(s), affidavit(s) of probable cause, CDR-1 or CDR-2, and indictments against defendant Daquan D Beerman." Since this was an open charge against Daquan Beerman, this too was included in our response.
Please be advised that I read your response more broadly than intended when I responded yesterday. Please ignore the previous response. Attached herewith please find the records responsive to your specific request. The following applies as it pertains to these (as noted in my email of yesterday):
Driver’s license, social security and phone numbers are redacted pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A5(a).
Names and addresses of victims of domestic violence are redacted pursuant to R.1:38-7(a).

Our files do not contain any indictments so your request is being denied for lack of responsive records.
