Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

Description: All emails written by or to Heather DeGrandis that specifically use or are related to the terms "curriculum development," "curriculum writing," "curriculum adoption," or "curriculum revision"

B. Summer Curriculum Writing

Description: All emails written by or to Heather DeGrandis that specifically use or are related to the terms "summer curriculum," "summer writing," "curriculum stipend," or "summer hours" in connection with academic material creation.

C. Curriculum Approval

Description: All emails written by or to Heather DeGrandis that specifically use or are related to the terms "curriculum approval," "board approval," "BOE curriculum,"

D. Professional Development Planning

Description: All emails written by or to Heather DeGrandis that specifically use or are related to the terms "professional development planning," "PD schedule," "in-service planning," "training agenda," or "PD hours."

Section 3: Time Frame of Records

This request is strictly limited to records generated during the following date range:

End Date: October 21, 2025

Demand for Vaughn Index (Withholding Justification)

In the event that the Custodian of Records determines that any responsive records, or any portion thereof, are exempt from disclosure or subject to redaction under a claimed exemption, the requestor demands a comprehensive Vaughn Index (or Vaughn Report) for each record withheld or redacted. This index must identify, for each specific record:

The specific record withheld or redacted (e.g., email chain subject, date, sender, and recipients).

The legal basis for the exemption (the specific statutory citation under OPRA or case law).

A description of the record sufficient to understand its nature and context without disclosing the privileged content.

An explanation of how the exemption applies to that specific record or redacted portion.
