4. All current part-time/per diem/hourly Emergency Medical Technicians, with names, titles, and current hourly rates.

5. Any secretaries, aides, or clerical/support staff assigned to UCEMS, with names, titles, and current salaries or hourly rates.

If no single record contains all of this information, please provide any current records that, taken together, show the employees and their current compensation (such as salary/payroll rosters or personnel lists).

This is a follow‑up to my OPRA request titled “Current Union City EMS Staffing and Compensation,” submitted on or about June 3, 2026.
In that request, I asked for:
1. A current roster of all Union City EMS employees (name, title, employment status).
2. The current base salary or hourly rate for each EMS employee.
3. The current EMS organizational chart.
4. For the most recent full calendar year, total overtime and stipends paid to EMS staff.
OPRA requires a written response within 7 business days. I have not received the requested records, a proper written denial with specific legal reasons, or a valid extension. This failure to respond/produce records violates OPRA’s timelines and disclosure requirements.
Please provide all responsive records by email within five (5) business days. If you deny or redact anything, please identify each record and state the exact OPRA exemption you are relying on.
If this is not resolved, I will consider filing a denial‑of‑access complaint with the Government Records Council or pursuing relief in Superior Court.

I am writing regarding my Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request titled “Current Union City EMS Staffing and Compensation,” originally submitted on June 2, 2026, seeking the current roster, base salary/hourly rates, organizational chart, and most recent full-calendar-year overtime and stipend/differential data for Union City EMS personnel (Chief, Deputy Chief, Supervisors, and EMTs, including part-time/per diem rates).

Your office previously advised that a response would be provided “on or before July 20th.” That date has now passed — it is July 27, 2026 — and I have not received the requested records, a partial production, a further extension notice, or a written statement of denial with the specific legal basis for withholding any records, as required under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.

Under OPRA, a custodian must grant or deny access to records within seven business days of receipt of a request, absent a legitimate agreed-upon extension. That extension has now also lapsed without resolution. Please treat this as formal notice that the records requested remain outstanding.

I ask that you provide, within five (5) business days of this email:
1. The requested records in electronic format, or
2. A written statement identifying each responsive record being withheld and the specific statutory exemption relied upon for each, per N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.

If I do not receive a substantive response within that time, I will pursue a denial-of-access complaint with the Government Records Council and/or file an action in Superior Court under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-6.
