The Camden City School District (“District”) is in receipt of your request for records pursuant to the Open Public Records Act (“OPRA”), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, et seq. Specifically, you requested: “the current number of employees in the collective bargaining unit for the Camden school district and the current number of employees with the NJEA dues withheld from the paychecks."
Please find the below information responsive to your request:
Currently, we have 1,164 employees in the collective bargaining unit, with 1,036 of them paying dues as of May 2024. Please note that this number does not include employees who are on a leave of absence.
