Current Landlord Registrations

We're waiting for Juan Doe to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear New Brunswick City,

This is a request for public records made under the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out a special form.

I am requesting the current list of landlord registrations in New Brunswick.

I am only interested in valid and/or in force registrations.

I prefer the list in Excel format, but I am willing to accept it in any format that is convenient for you.

Please acknowledge receipt of this message and let me know the estimated timeframe for fulfilling my request.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
Juan Doe

Dear Requestor:

The City of New Brunswick is in receipt of your request for
the current list of landlord registrations.  Kindly be advised that there
is no document responsive to your request as the City of New Brunswick
does not maintain a master list of rental registrations.  All rental
registration forms are maintained in their original paper format and filed
by address.

If you are looking for information regarding a specific
property or properties, the City of New Brunswick contracts with Spatial
Data Logic to maintain an online database that is accessible to the
public. You can go to the SDL portal and enter any address to view the
information associated the property address. [1]www.sdl.town/NewBrunswick

There are approximately 5000 rental registration forms on
file.  If you wish to request a copy of any of the rental registration
forms kindly specify the address and a copy will be provided with some
redactions as certain personal identifying information is not subject to
disclosure.

If you were looking for all rental registration forms, to fulfill such a
request would require many work hours that may require a special service
charge for both the employees’ time and copying costs.  A more detailed
estimate of the anticipated charges will be provided should you choose to
request copies of all forms on file.

Thank you for your interest in these matters if we can be of further
assistance, please feel free to contact the rent control office
