Crybaby Lieutenant Roberto Ruiz’ greedy behavior.
Dear North Bergen Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
-Lieutenant Roberto Ruiz’s salary for 2023
-Lieutenant Roberto Ruiz’s salary for 2024
-Lieutenant Roberto Ruiz’s extra duty employment compensation for 2023
-Lieutenant Roberto Ruiz’s extra duty employment compensation for 2024
-Lieutenant Roberto Ruiz’s Overtime compensation for 2023
-Lieutenant Roberto Ruiz’s Overtime compensation for 2024
I am writing to address the blatant hypocrisy surrounding Lieutenant Ruiz. Despite his well known and incessant complaints about not receiving enough extra duty employment opportunities, the reality is that he seems to be securing more than most. It is astounding how someone who already appears to be taking more than his fair share can still find the audacity to whine about not getting enough.
On Saturday, November 2, 2024, this same Lieutenant worked two extra duty employment details back-to-back on the same day. How can someone who supposedly isn’t given enough opportunities manage to stack up multiple shifts like this? It reeks of greed and a complete disregard for the other officers who are left scrambling for these same opportunities.
Lieutenant Ruiz has become a symbol of self-interest and entitlement, clearly taking advantage of a system that should be fair and equitable. It is unacceptable for someone benefiting so excessively to continue whining and complaining.
I want transparency on this issue, as it’s time we put an end to this greedy behavior and ensure that extra duty assignments are being distributed fairly.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.
Yours faithfully,
Ford Lightning
