Criminal Activity at Express Inn
Dear Cherry Hill Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding, but may use them as evidence in contemplated proceedings in the future

Police CAD logs, incident reports, nuisance calls, wellness checks and criminal arrests made at the Express Inn on Rt. 38 over the last 60 days.
Data regarding property crime and violent crime occuring on this property for the last year.
If available, information on any federal and or county police arrests at this location over the last year.
Any criminal investigations regarding this location that have closed or completed within the last year.

I would like to follow up with you regarding your OPRA request for
records related to the Express Inn on Rt. 38. After conducting an
initial review, the following information is available:
" Police CAD logs, incident reports, nuisance calls, wellness
checks, and criminal arrests made at the Express Inn on Rt. 38
over the last 60 days.
There are approximately 110 calls for service at this location
during the requested 60-day period. Based on the volume of records
and the need to review, redact, and prepare responsive documents,
we estimate it would take approximately 2.5 hours of staff time to
process this portion of the request.
" If available, information on any federal and/or county police
arrests at this location over the last year. - no responsive

" Data regarding property crime and violent crime occurring on
this property for the last year.
" Any criminal investigations regarding this location that have
closed or been completed within the last year.
There are approximately 636 calls for service at this location for
the last year, which would need to be individually reviewed to
determine whether responsive records exist for these items. We
estimate it would take approximately 10 hours of staff time to
review, redact, and prepare responsive documents for these
portions of the request.
Under OPRA, when a request requires an extraordinary amount of
time and labor to review and produce records, a special service
fee may be charged based on the actual hourly rate of the
lowest-paid employee capable of performing the work. Based on the
minimum rate of $20.28 per hour, the estimated fee to complete the
request as submitted is $316.00.
To help reduce or potentially eliminate the special service
charge, you may wish to narrow or clarify your request, such as by
specifying a shorter time frame or limiting it to certain types of
records. If you would like to revise the request, please let us
know how you would like to proceed.
