1. Clarification on “District / time period”
Edison Township Police Department does not use formal patrol districts, so I am requesting the roster broken down by shift assignment instead. Please provide the current sworn officer roster by name, rank, and shift (Days, Afternoons, Nights), or whatever shift structure your agency uses.

2. Clarification on “drug crimes possession of all illegal drugs”
To narrow the scope, I am requesting arrest-level information only for drug possession charges under New Jersey statutes, specifically:
• N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10 (Possession of CDS)
• N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5 (Possession with intent to distribute)
• N.J.S.A. 2C:35-2 (Definitions, CDS schedules)

I am not requesting investigative reports, body-worn camera footage, or narrative reports. I am requesting only the arrest-level information OPRA allows to be released:
• Name of arrestee
• Date of arrest
• Charges
• Arresting officer
• Location of incident
• Case number

3. Time period clarification
Please provide the above arrest-level information for the period:
January 1, 2023 through June 9, 2025.

4. Crime statistics
Thank you for directing me to the NJSP Uniform Crime Reporting website. I am not requesting statewide UCR data. I am requesting Edison Township’s most frequent crime categories as tracked internally. A simple list or summary is sufficient.
