As an update to the Commission's response to your OPRA request for " All costs incurred, including legal and administrative, to defend the OPRA lawsuit Duff v The Burlington County Bridge Commission", please be advised that the Commission is compiling responsive government records, which will include invoices for payments to outside counsel who handled the litigation for the Commission. Such invoices, after they are received and reviewed by the Commission, require the formal approval of the Commission, during a regular monthly meeting. Given the status of the litigation, the timing of bills that the Commission received from outside counsel on the matter, and the Commission's summer meeting schedule, (there was no meeting during the month of July), we anticipate that the approval of all such bills will take place at the Commission's next scheduled monthly meeting on August 9, 2022. Assuming that the bills are approved at the August meeting, they will be reviewed for production pursuant to OPRA, and responsive government records will be subject to release as soon as possible after August 9, 2022.
