Dear Union County Sheriff's Office,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

I hereby request access to the following records pertaining to Monica Tene (DOB: August 26, 1996; Jail ID Number: 0700544891):
1. Order of Commitment: Any order or judicial order remanding Monica Tene into the custody of the your facility or Essex Counties.
2. Detainer or Hold Notices: Any detainers or hold notices related to her custody.
3. Booking Information Sheet: Documentation detailing her initial booking information.
4. Extradition Waiver or Order: Any documents related to the extradition process from Westchester County, NY, to New Jersey between April 14 and April 23, 2025.
5. Transfer Records: Records documenting her transfer, including out-of-state, in-state, or intrastate transfers during the aforementioned period.

Please note that under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1, government records include those that have been made, maintained, kept on file, or received by a public agency in the course of its official business. Therefore, any records received by your office from other agencies or jurisdictions concerning Monica Tene during the specified period are considered government records and should be included in this request.
