We have received your below OPRA request.
However, this request is overly broad and does not identify a specific government record and is therefore invalid pursuant to Mag Entertainment, LLC v Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, 375 N.J. Super. 534 (March 2005) and Bent v Stafford Police Department, 381 N.J. Super. 30 (October 2005).
The New Jersey Government Records Council states that "valid OPRA (Open Public Records Act) request seeks specific, identifiable government records. Valid OPRA requests do not ask questions, do not seek information, and do not require a custodian to conduct any research or create a new record. A proper request under OPRA must identify with reasonable clarity those documents that are desired.
For questions regarding employee policies, you may contact our Human Resource Dept. at 732-262-1052.
Sincerely,
Jessica L. Larney, RMC/CMR
