Please accept this as my request for government records under both OPRA
and the common law right of access.  Thank you very much for your
commitment to transparent government.

BACKGROUND:

On January 3, 2023, I mailed an envelope to Clerk Laurie Varga that
contained a cover letter along with two items: a) a sealed envelope marked
"Confidential" that contained my ethics complaint complaint and b) a
letter to the Ethical Standards Board seeking, in accordance with N.J.S.A.
10:4-19, advance notice of the Board's 2023 meetings.  To date, I have not
received an acknowledgement of the ethics complaint despite the
requirement in Borough Code § 74-10(A) that ethics complaints be
acknowledged within 30 days of receipt.  Also, I have not received of
notice of any 2023 Ethical Standards Board meetings.  The object of this
request is to determine whether the Borough received my January 3, 2023
mailing.

RECORDS REQUESTED:

1. A copy of my January 3, 2023 cover letter to Clerk Varga, referenced
above.

2. Any letter, transmittal notice or other writing, including e-mails,
that accompanied the transmittal of my ethics complaint from the person
who received my January 3, 2023 mailing to the Ethical Standards Board.
