Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Wayne Township should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Wayne Township,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

Copies of all attorneys bills incurred by the Township of Wayne relating to all issues of:
1) affordable housing requirements and developments in accordance with requirements issued by the State of New Jersey or any State agency including the Council on Affordable Housing (COAH);
2) developments proposed by any and all developers which included affordable housing components in accordance with requirements issued by the State of New Jersey or any State agency Council on Affordable Housing (COAH);
3) legal actions filed by the Township with regard to affordable housing requirements issued by the State of New Jersey or any State agency Council on Affordable Housing (COAH);
4) defense of legal actions filed by any and all developers who pursued developments which would include an affordable housing component in accordance with requirements issued by the State of New Jersey or any State agency Council on Affordable Housing (COAH);
5) defense against "builder's remedy" lawsuits by any and all developers who pursued developments which would include an affordable housing component in accordance with requirements issued by the State of New Jersey or any State agency Council on Affordable Housing (COAH);

Time period to be covered: The year 2008, when the third round obligations for the Township of Wayne were set by the Council on Affordable Housing (COAH) to present.
