Dear Stafford Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
1. STPD's current written policy or general order governing the use of Automated License Plate Readers (ALPR)/Flock Safety cameras, adopted pursuant to NJ Attorney General Law Enforcement Directive 2022-12.
2. The name and title of STPD's designated Agency ALPR Coordinator.
Any data-sharing agreements, network-sharing lists, or memoranda of understanding describing which outside agencies (including other municipalities, county, state, or federal agencies) have access to Stafford Township's Flock Safety camera data.
3. STPD's most recent annual ALPR audit submitted to the County or State ALPR Coordinator, as required under AG Directive 2022-12.
The physical locations of all currently installed Flock Safety/ALPR cameras within Stafford Township.
4. STPD's data retention policy specific to Flock Safety/ALPR footage and metadata (i.e., how long images/data are stored before deletion).
