Dear Jersey City Board of Education,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:

Access to the following records related to the Jersey City Board of Education for Fiscal Years 2025 and 2026 (July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2026):

1. All contracts, agreements, and board resolutions approving or authorizing professional services and/or consultants, including but not limited to legal counsel, auditors, architects, planners, education consultants, management consultants, technology consultants, insurance brokers, and any other professional service providers.
2. For each consultant or professional service engagement:

* Vendor/consultant name
* Scope of services
* Contract amount and payment terms
* Contract start and end dates
3. All invoices, payment records, or purchase orders issued to consultants or professional service providers during this period.
4. A list of all senior administrative employees (including Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, Business Administrator, and Directors) with their titles, base salary, longevity pay, stipends, and benefits for FY 2025 and FY 2026.

If these records exist in electronic format, I request that they be provided electronically. If any portion of this request is denied, please provide the specific statutory basis for the denial and release all reasonably segregable portions of responsive records.
