Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I respectfully request access to government records maintained by the Stafford Township Police Department.

Specifically, I request records for calendar years 2023, 2024, and 2025 reflecting the following for all police officers holding the rank of Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Chief, and Chief:
The total number of banked compensatory time (comp time) hours accrued per year, per officer.

The total number of compensatory time (comp time) hours sold back to Stafford Township on an annual basis, per officer.

The total monetary value paid to each officer for annual compensatory time sell-back, per year.

Any written communications pertaining to the request or submission from each officer requesting to sell back compensatory time for each year 2023, 2024, 2025.

Please provide this information broken down by individual officer and by year, if such records are maintained in that format. If individual-level records are not available, please provide the data in the most detailed aggregate format available.

My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

If any portion of this request is denied, please provide the specific legal basis for the denial, including the statutory citation, and release any reasonably segregable portions of responsive records.
