Community Justice Unit information

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:
Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I request the following records relating to the Cumberland County Community Justice Unit:
1. Any current organizational chart, roster, staffing list, or similar record identifying employees assigned to the Community Justice Unit.
2. Records identifying each employee’s name, title, position, work email address, and salary.
3. Any document describing the mission, purpose, duties, or functions of the Community Justice Unit.
4. Any budget, annual report, grant application, grant award, or similar document relating to the funding or operation of the Community Justice Unit from January 1, 2023, to the present.

I request these records in electronic format. If any responsive record is withheld or redacted, please provide the specific legal basis for the withholding or redaction.
