To
Mount Laurel Township
Dear Mount Laurel Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Dear Requestor:
Mount Laurel Township received your October 24, 2025 OPRA and common law right of access request seeking the below categories of records and provides this timely response.
1. All emails, memos, notes, or communications (including attachments) from July 1–October 24, 2025, referencing any of the following: keyword "Schroeder", OPRA requests (e.g., sewer bonds/Endurance LLC transactions, recycling enforcement at 100 Mount Laurel Rd.), vendor audits, reporting timeline changes, or policy reforms prompted by resident filings.
Response: Request denied. A proper request for emails, memos, notes or communications must include must include the name of the sender/recipient, date range and keywords. Your request does not include the specific names or titles of official in order to conduct the search. Further, the phrase “sewer bonds” would refer to the Mount Laurel Township Municipal Utilities Authority, a separate entity. The terms “vendor audits,” “reporting timeline changes,” or “policy reforms prompted by resident filings” are also too broad and would require clarification as to what is being requested. Mount Laurel Township, like all public entities, follows the timelines established by the Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, et seq., which requires a response to an OPRA within seven business days. Mount Laurel has no additional policy concerning OPRA and the state law would preempt any local policy.
2. Any audio/video recordings or transcripts of public comments/discussions from the August 21, 2025 MUA Regular Meeting (beyond the posted minutes).
Response: Request denied. Mount Laurel Township does not make or maintain records related to the Mount Laurel Township Municipal Utilities Authority, a separate entity.
This completes your OPRA request. As all responsive documents have been provided under OPRA, the Township does not consider the common law right of access request.
Thank you,
