All correspondence between the NJ DOE and the Executive County Superintendents between the dates of 12/1/22 and 12/21/22, and any subsequent responses to the correspondence.

We are in receipt of your request below. Your request fails to specifically identify correspondence pursuant to Burke v. Brandes, 429 N.J. Super 169 (App. Div. 2012); MAG Entertainment, LLC v. Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, 375 N.J. Super. 534 (App. Div. 2005); Bent v. Stafford Police Department, 381 N.J. Super. 30 (App. Div. 2005); New Jersey Builders Association v. New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing, 390 N.J. Super. 166, 180 (App. Div. 2007); and Elcavage v. West Milford Twp., GRC Complaint Nos. 2009-07 and 2009-08 (March 2010).
Pursuant to these cases, in order to specifically identify correspondence, OPRA requests must contain: (1) the content and/or subject of the correspondence, (2) the specific date or range of dates during which the correspondence was transmitted, and (3) the sender and/or the recipient thereof.
Please provide the content and/or subject of the correspondence so that we may continue to process your request.

I have not received a response to my email below regarding the above referenced request. Please respond in writing by January 20, 2023. Failure to respond by this date will result in the closure of this request.

Mr. Hackett,
Currently, your request fails to identify with reasonable clarity the
specific government records sought, as is required by Bent v. Stafford
Police Department, 381 N.J. Super. 30, 37 (App. Div. 2005). I have not
received a response to my emails dated December 23, 2022 and January 6,
2023 regarding clarification of your OPRA request. Accordingly, the
request is denied.
A receipt indicating that your request has been closed, is attached.
