Communication with State Agencies Regarding Dissolution of Buena Boro Fire Districts

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
*All communications, in physical or electronic form, in which the there is communication between the Borough of Buena Fire District 2 and the following NJ State Agencies: Department of Community Affairs, Local Finance Board, Division of Fire Safety regarding dissolution of the Buena Boro Fire Districts.
*The timeline for this search shall be from December 2022 to present.

Thank you for the request. All of our interactions with the state about previous or possible future dissolutions of any fire districts have all either been done via our solicitor or over the phone. I did however attach a copy of a letter sent to us recently from the Department of Community Affairs, Director Suarez (Division of Local Government Services), that was addressed to Mayor and Council. The letter is in regard to recent activities of the current borough council, as well as activities of the former Fire District 1. This is the only formal correspondence I have to provide at this time.
