Please see the attached file as our response to the OPRA Request regarding
the correspondence from Margene Rubin “to” Susan Knudsen dated July 13,
2020. Note the email requested was not addressed “to” Susan Knudsen, only
“copied” to Susan Knudsen. However, the Village Clerk’s Office is
providing the attached document in an effort to remain transparent.
Note information in the attached documents has been redacted and under the
N.J.S.A.47:1A-1 OPRA Exemptions - in the interest of privacy, it is the
public policy of this State that a public agency has a responsibility and
an obligation to safeguard from public access a citizen’s personal
information with which it has been entrusted when disclosure thereof would
violate the citizen’s reasonable expectation of privacy.
At this time, we will consider this request closed and our obligation
satisfied.
