Dear The Curious Taxpayer,
The Township of Plainsboro received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
request on August 20, 2024. The official Records Custodian, Carol J.
Torres, received your OPRA request on the same date. As such, the seven
(7) business day deadline to respond to your request is August 29, 2024.
This response to your request is being provided to you on the same date as
the custodian’s receipt of said request.
The OPRA request sought access to the following:
v “A digital copy of the most recently approved memorandum of ALL
collective bargaining units with which the township, city, borough, etc.,
currently holds active agreements. Please include the most recent contract
booklet (signed or unsigned), the most recent memorandum of agreement,
salary guides, and any sidebar agreements, if applicable.”
Response: The attached records are being provided in their entirety and
are responsive to your request. The records are being transmitted to you
via email as per your request. There is no cost associated with the
request pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.b.
If your request for access to a government record has been denied or
unfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a
right to challenge the decision by the Plainsboro Township Clerk to deny
access. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the
Superior Court of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government
Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form.
