Code Violation List Request
Dear South Plainfield Borough,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL use the requested government records for a commercial purpose (Real Estate).
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Code Violation List Request for 09/28/2024 to 10/28/2024
I kindly request a list of all UNRESOLVED or OPEN code violations (please do not include closed violations) for all properties in the city during this time period, specifically related to property maintenance, structural issues, and weeds. Please include descriptions of the violations, property addresses, and violation dates. I also prefer for the document to be sent here in OPRA not in my email. Thank you so much.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Hi Thanks for sending the file. I'm requesting records from 09/28/2024 to 10/28/2024. I don't know how the system works but usually I requested example from 07/21/2024 - 09/19/2024 then I close the request as it is successfully.
Then I will request another timeframe EX. 09/28/2024 to 10/28/2024 in same Borough or township request link. Then I send a follow up under this if it's delayed already.
Lmk how I should send my request, I'm sorry for the confusion. Thank you so much!

Thank you for the clarification, apologies but I don't have a request from you for the dates of 09/28/2024 to 10/28/2024. The records provided from my last email pertains to the last and only OPRA Request that we've received by you. I looked under both email addresses of yours for OPRA Machine as well and have nothing since that last request. To assist you further, please send a request to my email herein and I'll have it get processed for you. Apologies!
