Dear Plumsted Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:

For the period July 1st 2026 through present day. Please provide all records relating to code enforcement violations issued, documented, opened, or otherwise recorded by Plumsted Township, including but not limited to:

1. All code enforcement violation notices issued during the requested period.
2. All notices of violation, summonses, warnings, orders to correct, notices to cease, notices of non-compliance, and similar enforcement documents issued by or on behalf of Plumsted Township.
3. A complete list or log of all code enforcement cases/violations opened or recorded during the requested period, including, where available:
* Property address;
* Block and lot;
* Date of violation;
* Date issued;
* Type/nature of violation;
* Applicable ordinance or code section;
* Enforcement officer or department issuing the violation;
* Case/violation number;
* Current status or disposition.
4. All inspection reports, field reports, photographs, correspondence, notices, and other records associated with each violation, to the extent such records are subject to disclosure under OPRA.
5. All records reflecting the disposition or resolution of each violation, including notices of compliance, certifications of correction, dismissals, withdrawals, fines, penalties, court referrals, summonses, and other enforcement actions.
6. All records of fines, penalties, or other monetary assessments associated with code enforcement violations during the requested period, including the amount assessed, amount paid, date paid, and outstanding balance, where applicable.
7. Any spreadsheets, databases, reports, tracking logs, or other electronic records maintained by the Township that identify or track code enforcement violations during the requested period.

This request is intended to include violations issued by any Plumsted Township department, official, officer, or employee responsible for code enforcement, including, but not limited to, the Construction/Code Enforcement Department, Zoning Officer, Property Maintenance Officer, Health Department, Fire Prevention/Fire Official, and any other municipal official or department that issues or maintains code enforcement records.
