Code Enforcement Income Revenue DPW
Dear Plainfield City,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
I would like see the revenue amounts that the code enforcement inspectors collected over the yearly period of 2016, 2017, 2018 and year to date. DPW is asking for more inspectors, but are they doing what is expected of them?

As far as I know Code Enforcement Inspectors do not collect revenue.
However the amounts collected for Certificates of Compliance issued by the
Inspection Division is as follows according to Audit and Control
information:
2016 - $81,510
2017 - $79,970
2018 - $112,888
2019 - $24,860 (Thru 3/31/19)

a report showing the revenues from 2014 through 2018 for the following
categories:
· Fees and permits
· Certificate of Compliance
· Uniform Construction Code Fees.
