RE: OPRA REQUEST of 2/16/2021, Reference # W017938-021621

Dear Jennifer North,

The Camden County Custodian of Records received your Open Public Records
Act request on 2/16/2021.

The Finance Department conducted a search of their files and provided
records responsive to your request.  Finance provided and uploaded the
170,000 Grant receivable for request. The Division of Community
Development informed this office that the $170,000 from the State was
inserted into the County budget during the November Commissioner meeting.
We could not have moved sooner on these funds as the State did not
announce it until the time of the referenced press release from Ms.
Johnson. The $170,000 was allocated to South Jersey Transportation
Authority in the amount of $15,000. We have not been billed yet for their
transportation services during Code Blue. The remaining $155,000 has been
allocated to the City of Camden by way of a shared services agreement. The
agreement has not yet been signed and fully executed. Also, no purchase
order has been released. After the release of the purchase order, the City
of Camden will begin to bill us for expenses incurred for Code Blue. No
record exists for expenses incurred for Code Blue at this time.  As such,
this correspondence and the records provided constitutes completion of
your request.  To access your request and retrieve your records please
click [2]here.

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, et seq. if your request for access to a
government record has been denied or unfilled within the seven (7)
business days required by law, you have a right to challenge the decision
by the County of Camden to deny access.  As provided by law, you have the
right to either institute a proceeding in the Superior Court of New Jersey
or file a complaint with the Government Records Council (GRC) by
completing their Denial of Access Complaint Form located at the GRC’s
website at [3]www.state.nj.us/grc.

You may contact the GRC by toll-free telephone at 866-850-0511, by mail at
P.O. Box 819, Trenton, NJ, 08625, by e-mail at [4][email address]. The
GRC can also answer other questions about the law. All questions regarding
complaints filed in Superior Court should be directed to the Superior
Court.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Custodian of Records at
(856) 225-2131.
