Sir,

As previously noted, this Firm represents the County of Ocean as Asst.
County Counsel.  The County received your May 7, 2026 email which did not
include a specific request for records in the body of the request and no
official OPRA form was included in the email.  The County, through this
office, responded to you on May 13, 2026 asking you to identify specific
records.   The County notes that although the body of the OPRA was totally
blank, the subject line of the email states “Civil lawsuit filing by
plaintiff Dan Torsiello against at student”.    Assuming that you were
seeking a copy of that lawsuit, the Ocean County Clerk of the Board and
Risk Management Department have both confirmed from a search of the 2025
and 2026 files that they have no records responsive to your request.

Therefore, based upon the issue that the OPRA was incomplete, and assuming
that you were seeking something related to this alleged lawsuit, the
County denies your OPRA request because no responsive records exit.

This communication completes and closes your OPRA request.
