I read your refusal and stature and ask to clarify this OPRA. I am not seeking any names and ask for just the number of children residing at 375 Passaic Street. As a taxpayer I seek to find info pertaining to this entity being in compliance with our zoning laws.

Dear Cheryl Jiosi,
First denial was a privacy issue. You then claim there are no documents to answer OPRA request while stating this will be too burdensome to review student enrollment records. As a Rochelle Park taxpayer, I believe I am in good legal standing to receive the requested information. Too much work for you is not a reason for denial.

Dear OPRA Requestor:
This shall acknowledge receipt of your second request for clarification of
my original response to your request for public records. To clarify, I
did not deny your request because it is unduly burdensome, but because the
information is not contained in a record that is maintained by the
District. I further stated that in order to confirm or deny your request
I would have to inspect every child’s enrollment and residency documents,
which means that it is not readily ascertainable. If you do not agree
with my determination, you may appeal my denial of your request in
accordance with the instructions provided to you in my first response.
