This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
On May 3, 2022 the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office assumed control of the Lavallette Police Department and appointed retired Chief of Detectives Joseph Mitchell to handle the day to day operations of the Lavallette Police Department . I am respectfully requesting payroll records detailing any and all payments made to Joseph Mitchell for the time period commencing on May 3, 2022 up to and including April 3, 2023. Including but not limited to - per diem, pension payments, government vehicle assignment, overtime, consultation fees and any other compensation paid to Joseph Mitchell by the OCPO or any other source for his role as handling the day to day operations of the Lavallette Police Department.
