Cherry Hill Police Department Records Request
Dear Cherry Hill Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Body Camera / Dash Camera footage and Police Report of the incident in Report Number 25-078783.

After careful review of your OPRA request received May 11,
2026, we have determined that your request is for documents
that are considered exempt as noted below:
N.J.S.A. 47:1A-3(a) Specifically No. 33) Ongoing
investigations - any records pertaining to an investigation
in progress by any public agency if disclosure of such
record or records shall be detrimental to the public
interest.
However, you may submit a request directly to Camden County

As a result of our search, subsequent findings and this
response to your request, we have marked your OPRA request
as satisfied and closed.
A copy of the Denial Poster with instructions to applicants

your appeal to the Government Records Council or the New
