Dear Spotswood Board of Education,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. The request for the cell phone records of Mr. Daniel Lennan is denied as
the request lacks specificity and seeks a non-governmental record that is
not maintained by the Board of Education.
It is unclear what the requester is seeking by "cell phone record." If the
request is seeking documents detailing calls, texts or other messages sent
or received by Mr. Lennan, such records are not considered public records
available for production pursuant to OPRA. Mr. Lennan does not have a
district-issued cell phone, and the use of his personal phone is for
personal reasons. Accordingly, the request as submitted is denied.
