Cell phone numbers and assignments

I am writing to request an internal review of Sea Isle City's handling of my OPRA request ' They are requesting I fill out a form requesting that I’m requesting personal info.

Your request for review has been forwarded to this office for review. You
have submitted an OPRA request seeking phone numbers and assignments for
City employees including police officers. The records may or may not be
disclosed. This office is only reviewing the complaint filed by you. The
request will be handled in the normal course by the Clerk's Office.
A fair review of the Clerk's response does not require the use of any
particular form. She provided the form as a convenience for you and
specifically stated the certification she sought for you to provide in the
email. She also provided the reason she was requesting the certification.
I further direct you to NJSA 47:1A-2.2 which states in pertinent part "
Notwithstanding the provisions of P. L. 1963, c. 73 (C.47:1A-1 et seq.) as
amended and supplemented, or any other law to the contrary, a custodian
shall not comply with an anonymous request for a government record which
is protected under the provisions of this section."
In short the City will accept the certification in any format you choose
to provide same, just as it has accepted other requests you have made
without using the City form.
I am sure you can understand the request in light of you requesting
multiple police officers direct lines who may have several ongoing
criminal investigations.
In closing, the City and in particular the clerk's office will move to
expeditiously respond to your request upon receipt the appropriate
certification in compliance with her request regardless as to the format
you choose to respond.
