Dear Howell Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested: Any resumes submitted by Caroline Shafto to Howell Township in 2023 for the position of human resources administrator or any other Howell Township job postings, including emails related to Caroline Shafto's application for employment. I am entitled to this information according to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-10.

Additional time was required to complete this OPRA request 26-1666, I have attached the notification of extension along with the response closing out your request. The extension request was sent on 7/13/26 and the email closing out your request was sent on 7/22/26.

Good morning,
In response to your email requesting internal review.
I see where the issue comes from - I had initially requested an extension for two of your OPRA requests 26-1665 and 26-1666 under the initial email for 26-1665 and as the extension for 26-1666 was under the 26-1665 email that is where I closed it out from.
