Dear Piscataway Township,
Under the OPRA, the common law right of access, and N.J.S. § 19:13-11, I am requesting complete copies of all petitions filed with your office for candidates in the June 6, 2023 primary election. I am a candidate for office, and due to the tight timeline of the election, I require these records as soon as possible. I prefer to receive the response to this request via email, in one or more .pdf attachments. Please contact me promptly if you have any questions about this request, or if you would like to make alternate arrangements for me to inspect the petitions.

In order to view the petitions, the link you provided requires me to enter into a contract with a private corporation/service ("Dropbox"), and I respectfully decline to do so. Please provide the petitions as attachments and send them via email. Thank you.

Mr. Kratovil,
We have tested the link a number of times, and other than the standard cookies acceptance / denial (which does not prevent you from access). there is no requirement to login or setup an account and you are provided full access to the files for download. There is absolutely no requirement to enter into a contract with Dropbox to retrieve the files.
However, if you still do not wish to use the link, the files are too numerous and large to email, so we can put them on a USB key for pickup during hour usual business hours for a $5 fee.

Thanks for getting back to me. The link works fine now. Previously, it required the user to create an account or use an existing Dropbox account to log in. This is no longer the case. Thanks again!
