As per Appellate Division Docket No A-000353-23, I am seeking the
following 2 documents: 1) On January 23, 2025, The City of Hoboken sent
legal representation to advocate against my promotion to attend the
above appeal to the superior court to Trenton, NJ. I am requesting the
communications between the City and the legal department making the
request for legal counsel to attend my hearing (Who requested the
attendance and related communications if available) 2) According to the
City of Hobokenʼs legal department (During its rebuttal to the above
appeal) the City claimed it was granted permission by the Civil Service
Commission to retroactively apply retirements Form September and
October 2022 to promotions it had made on July 1, 2022. The City also
promoted 6 Fire Captains from an incomplete certification list without
genuine vacancies on the same date. I am seeking the written
communications between the City and the CSC allowing the alleged

City. The City claimed that it tried "everything they could to promote
me" and yet sent legal representation to advocate against me. 2) In the
Cityʼs legal rebuttal to my case, it claimed that permission was given
to retroactively apply retirements from September 1, 2022 and October
1, 2022 to promotions of July 1, 2022. however, no evidence was ever
produced. I am requesting the communications between Michael Kraus and
Elliott Cohen (emails provided) that would have covered the alleged
permission OR alternately, Hobokenʼs legal representative statements
naming the granting party from CSC.
