The staff at the Camden County Police Department notified me that they
would like an extension of time to respond to your OPRA request. Pursuant
to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.i. I request an extension of time to allow the
Department's personnel to conduct an extensive search for the requested

The Camden County Custodian of Records received your Open Public Records
Act request on 12/20/2019. To access your request and the record provided

The Camden County Police Department (CCPD) conducted a search of their
files and provided the following response to your request:
For your request for "List of person or persons authorized to post or
otherwise alter Camden county police department social media pages such as
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, ETC." the CCPD informed our office that no
records exist for this portion of your request.
For your request for "List of persons blocked from commenting on these
pages and justification of their limitations." the CCPD informed our
office that the Camden County Police Department is not presently blocking
any users but some were blocked in the past for inappropriate content and
misuse of the Facebook page. A copy of the formerly blocked users has been
provided.
As such this letter constitutes completion of your request.
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, et seq. if your request for access to a
government record has been denied or unfilled within the seven (7)
business days required by law, you have a right to challenge the decision
by the County of Camden to deny access. As provided by law, you have the
right to either institute a proceeding in the Superior Court of New Jersey
or file a complaint with the Government Records Council (GRC) by
completing their Denial of Access Complaint Form located at the GRC’s
website at www.state.nj.us/grc. You may contact the GRC by toll-free
telephone at 866-850-0511, by mail at P.O. Box 819, Trenton, NJ, 08625, by
e-mail at [email address]. The GRC can also answer other questions
about the law. All questions regarding complaints filed in Superior Court
should be directed to the Superior Court.
