Mr. James:
In follow-up to OPRA request made to the County of Gloucester dated August 8, 2023, seeking copies of “The Gloucester County Communications Center calls for service report for the structure fire that occurred on August 3, 2023 at 306 North West Boulevard Landisville (Buena Borough-Atlantic County). Please include the time log showing resource deployment response times.”; I am advised by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, the lead investigative agency in this matter (as Buena Borough is located in Atlantic County), that requested records remain exempted from release pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1-3, as part of an ongoing investigation.
Because Gloucester County’s involvement in this incident was limited to 9-1-1 Dispatch Services, we ask that you follow up directly with the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office for status changes in this matter.
As to your request for an internal review of Gloucester County's handling of your original OPRA request; please be advised the Office of County Counsel concurs with the decision to deny access to requested records when the matter is under active investigation by law enforcement.

They have denied my request stating that they do not possess any records fitting my request, not for any criminal investigatory exclusion. So, at this time I am repeating my request for the beforementioned public documents.

In response to your OPRA request made to the County of Gloucester dated October 13, 2023, seeking “… an internal review of Gloucester County's handling of my OPRA request 'Call for Service Time Log for Structure Fire on August 3, 2023 at 306 North West Boulevard Landisville, NJ 08326.”; as previously communicated to you, subject incident occurred in Atlantic County, and the subsequent investigation was undertaken by that County’s Prosecutor’s Office.
Gloucester County’s involvement was limited to emergency dispatch communication services pursuant to a shared services agreement between the parties.
Also, as previously communicated, the Office of County Counsel concurs with the custodian of records responses to your OPRA submissions.
