RE: Your Open Public Records (OPRA) Request

In response to you follow-up Email dated November 26, 2024 seeking “CAD detail reports with officer narrative coded as DUI and Theft for dates 11/08/2024 to 11/15/2024. “; please be advised the County Office of Emergency Management does not maintain “officer narratives" which are generated by local police departments. You may wish to contact the appropriate municipality for requested narrative records.

Additionally, the Office of Emergency Response is unable to provide any CAD Reports for "DUI" incidents, as this is a charge someone receives by responding law enforcement.

However, this office will conduct a search for calls relating to “theft” and DUI related incidents like motor vehicle crashes, for the requested period. This will require an extension of time to provide. You may expect a response by January 2, 2025.

Please note redacted within documents is personally identifying information, to include phone numbers, dates of birth, vehicle descriptors, and home street addresses; exempted under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 privacy exceptions, and in accordance with Gloucester County’s responsibility and obligation to safeguard personal information with which it has been entrusted when disclosure thereof would violate a citizen’s reasonable expectation of privacy, compromise personal security, or result in unwelcomed contact or solicitation.

Additionally, as previously stated, “officer narratives" which are generated and maintained by local law enforcement are not available through the County. You may wish to contact the appropriate municipality for such records.
