Dear Holmdel Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Good afternoon,
This email is in response to your Open Public Records Act (OPRA0 request
in which you seek access to “all body worn camera footage of all traffic
stops performed on July 4, 2025”.
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5 (c) a special service charge is warranted for
the retrieval, review, and necessary redaction of body-worn camera footage
when compliance of the request involves “an extraordinary expenditure of
time and effort to accommodate the request.
The estimated cost to process your request is: $225.00
This is an estimate. A final total will be provided upon completion of the
work. If the actual cost is less than the estimate, you will be credited
the difference. If it exceeds the estimate, we will notify your before
proceeding further.
We are unable to proceed with the processing of your request until we
receive written confirmation that you agree to the special service charge
and a deposit of $112.50 (50% of your estimated total).
Please respond within 5 business days of this email indicating whether you
wish to :
• Proceed with the request and agree to pay the estimated charge; or
• Modify or narrow your request to potentially reduce the cost; or
• Withdraw your request.
A failure to respond will be considered your wish to withdraw your
request.
Your payment can be made as follows:
