BWC Footage
Dear Bradley Beach Borough,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Body worn camera footage of all traffic stops performed on 7-4-25

To Whom it may concern,
This request is overly broad, please specify what incident and time you
are seeking on 7/4/25. If you choose to respond, below is the process in
the Borough for obtaining BWC footage.
BWC Footage will require redactions. The Borough Police Department does
not have the capability to perform this task and utilizes an outside
vendor equipped to do this.
1. The vendor charges a non-refundable quote fee of $50.00 per video to
obtain redaction quotes.
2. If the requestor is proceeding with obtaining the quote(s), the Borough
must be in receipt of payment in full from the requestor for the quote
fee(s) before moving forward with the request altogether.
If quote fees are obtained, paid for & the requestor is proceeding with
the request for the BWC footage:
1. Be advised a minimum 30 day extension will be required.
2. The cost for BWC footage varies depending on the length of each video
and how much redaction work is required. BWC video redaction requires
several hours of work on the vendor's part. Estimating from previous
requests the cost will most likely run between $500 - $750 or more per
video.
3. The Borough will need to be in receipt of payment in full from the
requestor prior to the release of all redacted footage once it is received
by the vendor and ready to be sent to the requestor.
