Dear Holland Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

The Holland Township Police Department received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request on Monday, June 15, 2026. The official Records Custodian, Clerk Tigar, received your OPRA request on June 15, 2026. As such, the seven (7) business day deadline to respond to your request is June 25, 2025. This response to your request is being provided to you on the 5th business day after the custodian’s receipt of said request.
Your OPRA request sought access to the following:
Body Worn Camera Footage of all traffic stops between 5-20-2026 and 5-21-2026
Your request requires additional time beyond the seven (7) business days to fulfill due to its size. OPRA allows custodians to seek extensions of time pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.i. Specifically, OPRA states that, “the requestor shall be advised by the custodian when the record can be made available. If the record is not made available by that time, access shall be deemed denied.”
Your request requires an extension of time until July 31, 2026.

This department is in receipt of your Government Records Request dated June 15, 2026. An extension of time request was submitted on June 23, 2026, which was provided to you on the 6th business day after the custodian’s receipt of the request.
The submitted request is seeking all Body Worn Camera Footage of all traffic stops between 5/20/2026 and 5/21/2026. A search of our BWC for traffic stops has been completed; there are a total of 24 videos. OPRA mandates that the requestor shall have the opportunity to review and object to the charge before it is incurred. See N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5c. As such, a detailed estimate is provided below:
The review and redactions of the body-worn camera footage will take approximately 3 hours and 10 seconds and will cost $106.08
Before proceeding, the Township would require 50% of this cost. This does not include the cost to deliver the records. Halfway through the process, we would re-evaluate the cost and advise you of any changes. Kindly respond in writing within 10 days with your acceptance or rejection of this estimated charge. We will not begin to process this request until we receive your written acceptance, along with 50% of the cost.
Please do not mail cash, check or money orders will be accepted. No credit cards.
