Dear West Windsor Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

Attached is the Special Service Fee and the 14 Point Analysis.

 

By law, all OPRA requests must be redacted within the guidelines set by
the State.

 

The West Windsor Township Police Department finds it necessary to charge a
special service fee because the request involves an extraordinary
expenditure of time and effort related to video redaction. The cost is
based upon the hourly rate of the lowest level employee capable of
fulfilling the request and the estimated time necessary to ensure the
proper redaction. The cost for this redaction (which includes 11.7 hrs. of
time) will be $755.00, to be made payable to West Windsor Township. We
will require an extension of one week (from date of payment received) to
complete the redaction process.
