SPECIAL SERVICE CHARGES

A preliminary review of records indicates a voluminous amount of
responsive hours (over 2 hours, totaling 9). The responsive files
will need to be retrieved and reviewed for redaction of
information not subject to disclosure and will require a special
service charge. Your request indicates authorization of a fee of
$31.97 per hour.

Due to the voluminous nature of the request, time to review for
redaction of exempt information where applicable, staff size
capable of responding to this request (1), and staff availability,
this request requires an `extraordinary expenditure of time` as
noted in N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, et seq., Section 5C, thereby warranting
an estimated Special Service Charge of $287.73. This charge was
estimated based on the hourly rate of the lowest level employee
capable of completing the request (PD Records Clerk$31.97/hr x
9hr) to retrieve, review, redact and prepare records as per
N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.3
In accord ance with the law this notice is to advise you of the
opportunity to review the charge before proceeding with the
request in the event you wish to amend or withdraw your request.

Should you decide to proceed with your request, please submit a
check or money order in the amount of $237.73 in person or by mail
to the Borough Clerk, 910 Oceanport Way, PO Box 370, Oceanport, NJ
