Dear Lambertville City,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

To Whom It May Concern:
The City of Lambertville received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
request on October 8, 2025. The official Records Custodian, Cynthia Ege,
received your OPRA request on October 9, 2025. As such, the seven (7)
business day deadline to respond to your request is October 20, 2025.
Your OPRA request sought access to the following records: Police Body
worn camera footage of any and all traffic stops and Motor Vehicle
accidents between 8-1-25 and 9-1-25.
In accordance with P.L. 2024, c.16, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(i)(1), circumstances
that otherwise necessitate additional time, due to the volume, your
request requires an extension of time until November 13, 2025.
In accordance with N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(c), this request involves an
extraordinary expenditure of time and effort to accommodate, and
therefore, also requires a special service charge of $742.62. Please
confirm your agreement to pay the special service charge and provide the
City with a deposit in the amount of $371.31 (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-(f), so that
we can begin working on your request. Please note that we will not begin
reviewing the records requested until you confirm that you are willing to
pay the special service charge and the deposit is received. As required by
P.L. 2024, c.16, the cost breakdown is as follows:

Office assistant salary per hour to conduct redactions: $22.85 an hour
Total amount for redaction review: $742.62
