Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

Dear Records Custodian,
Under the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.), I request the following records related to the investigation, arrest, and conviction of James Murray, 55, of Berlin, Camden County, NJ, who was found guilty on December 17, 2025, of two counts of first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, three counts of second-degree Sexual Assault, two counts of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and one count of third-degree Obscenity to Minors, before the Honorable Aimee Belgard, P.J.Cr., in Burlington County Superior Court, Mount Holly, NJ.
I specifically request the following:
1. The identity of the lead municipal police department(s) that investigated and/or arrested James Murray in connection with this case;
2. The arrest report(s) associated with the arrest of James Murray;
3. The criminal complaint or complaint-warrant filed against James Murray;
4. Any body-worn camera (BWC) footage recorded by Burlington County Prosecutor's Office detectives during the investigation or arrest of James Murray;
5. The affidavit of probable cause supporting any arrest warrant or complaint-warrant issued against James Murray;
6. CAD/dispatch records associated with any response to the location(s) where the offenses occurred.
This request is limited to the records directly associated with the investigation and arrest of James Murray in connection with the above-referenced case. I do not seek any records that would identify or disclose the identities of the minor victims.
Delivery & Format: Electronic delivery (download link/portal) of original/native files when available (with embedded timecodes/metadata).
Redactions: Apply only those required by law and release all reasonably segregable portions. If any segments require no redaction, please release them promptly.
Fees / Special Service Charge: This is a non-commercial, public-interest journalism request. Given the narrow scope and routine format, this request does not require an "extraordinary expenditure of time and effort" under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(c); no special service charge should apply.
