Dear Tony Michael,
 
The Township of Tewksbury is in receipt of your request for copies of
body-worn camera footage for all traffic stops conducted by Township
police officers during the period from July 1, 2025 through July 20, 2025.
The request as written is overly broad and unduly burdensome as the
responsive recordings span 123 traffic stops. Due to the small size of the
department and limited number of administrative staff available, the
responsive videos cannot be reviewed and redacted within the statutory
timeframes. Production of all recordings will take at least three months
and will incur a special service charge.
 
Alternatively, you could narrow the request to specific traffic stops or a
limited number of days such that it can be processed and the responsive
recordings released without extended time or special service charges. If
you would like to so narrow the request, please respond in writing with
the more limited request. Otherwise, your request will be deemed closed.
