The Somerville Police Department was notified of your request via a
forwarded email from Mr. Kevin Sluka, Clerk/Administrator of the Borough
of Somerville, on Tuesday April 12, 2022. In your emailed request you ask
for the following records under both OPRA and the Common Law:

 

'Body cam video of Somerville Borough Police Officers that recorded on
November 27, 2021 of stop and arrest of Claudino G. Petruccelli, 22, Steve
V. Koshlyak, 34, and Zackerji I. Ivanovic, 41

 

Your OPRA request is being processed and once completed, said BWC footage
will be sent electronically, as per your request, via numerous subsequent
emails to the ‘UNIQUE address for all replies to this request:

Dear Mr. Daryle Lamont Jenkins,

 

It is the desire of the Somerville Police Department to comply with your
Open Public Records Act request for records in accordance with the rules
established by the New Jersey Government Records Council. The Somerville
Police Records Department was able to locate the records you requested.
 Due to the established guidelines of the New Jersey Government Records
Council and N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, portions of the footage have been redacted
as per established exemptions under the Open Public Records Act. The
specific exemptions are as follows:

 

N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1: #19 - Personal identifying information.

Specifically: 19a - Social Security Numbers

                      19c - Unlisted telephone numbers

                      19d - Drivers' license numbers 

 

As indicated in the below OPRA response, emails were sent to

to the requested BWC footage. Attached is a copy of the first email “Copy
of Email GETAC – Shared Media” sent as an example of what the email looks
like.

 

This response has been sent via email as requested.
