Board Policies, Governance Records, and Attorney Invoices

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Medford Township School District should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Medford Township School District,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:

1. The version of Regulation 9130 — Public Complaints as it existed in district records immediately prior to its revision on March 2, 2026

2. The version of Regulation 2530 — Resource Materials as it existed in district records immediately prior to its revision on March 2, 2026

3. The formal resignation letter or written communication submitted by Kristen Sinclair prior to her resignation effective January 29, 2026, and any board correspondence related to her resignation

4. The formal resignation letter or written communication submitted by Katherine Santamore prior to her resignation effective December 30, 2025, and any board correspondence related to her resignation

5. Any agendas, notices, sign-in sheets, or materials from Governance Committee meetings held between December 1, 2025 and March 13, 2026

6. Any board meeting agendas, minutes, exhibit attachments, or materials from any meeting prior to March 3, 2026 at which policies 1552, 2530, 2535, or 9130 — or their predecessor policies 3362 and 4352 — were introduced, presented, or discussed as first or second readings

7. Any written communications between the district and the New Jersey Department of Education, the New Jersey State Board of Education, or the New Jersey School Boards Association regarding Freedom to Read Act compliance between December 9, 2025 and March 16, 2026

8. Any district submission to or correspondence with the NJDOE regarding compliance with the Freedom to Read Act (N.J.S.A. 18A:34A-1 et seq.), including but not limited to any certification of compliance, policy submission, or response to NJDOE inquiry, between December 9, 2025 and March 16, 2026

9. The complete meeting minutes from the March 2, 2026 regular Board of Education meeting, in whatever form they currently exist, including any draft or unapproved version

10. The February 2, 2026 work session materials, including any documents, presentations, or written materials distributed or discussed during the work session that convened at 6:30 PM prior to the regular session
