Dear Mahwah Board of Education,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law
right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please
acknowledge receipt of this message.

In response to your Public Board of Education Meeting Dated       Please
provide the following information relating to slide # 2 from your public
presentation.

1. Regarding the section stating “ Who was involved in creating these
standards at the state level? Please provide the following:

     a. A complete list of the 100 districts listed and a complete list of
contact persons from those districts used as point persons in the CSE
Curriculum Initiative. Also a description of how and why those particular
districts were chosen.

     b. A complete list of Public and Non Public Charters listed along
with a complete list of individuals from those institutions that
participated, their titles, and their role.

     c.  A complete list of Elementary, Middle, and High Schools listed
along with a complete list of individuals from those institutions that
participated, their titles, and their role.

d.  Rural, Suburban, & Urban Communities listed along with a complete list
of individuals from those communities that participated, their titles, and
their role.

e. A complete list of individuals from Higher Education Faculty that
participated, their titles, institutions they are from, and, their role in
the writing of the curriculum. Also and explanation of how and why those
particular individuals were chosen.

f. A complete list of individual Parents listed that participated, 
institutions their children are from, grades their children are in, their
titles, and their role in writing of the curriculum. Also an explanation
how and why those particular parents were chosen.

g. A complete list of Businesses/Organizations//Non-Profit Organizations
alsong with the Representatives from said organizations including their
names, titles, along with how and why those particular individuals were
chosen for the CSE project list includes:

     1. Non-Profit Organizations

     2. Business

     3. Military

     4.  Health Fields

Lastly concerning the last statement on the slide from the presentation “
Before standards go for State Board approval, there is an open discussion
and public comment period. For the NJSLS-CHPE, this was a 5-month period”.

Please provide dates and times along with meeting notes/ atendees who
participated and any reverent information from open meeting… directly from
the  statement:

3.  Date and time of 5 month writing period and above requested
information:

4.  Date and time of submission to the State Board for Approval and
comments/feedback raised by them.
